Fellow Meraloma Director and President of the Rogues, Brennan Bastyovanszky, is running for Park Board in the October 15th election.

This is an important opportunity for the Meralomas community to have a team on the Park Board that cares about the future of sports in Vancouver.

Brennan and ABC Vancouver will:

  • Provide an ‘Emergency Restoration Fund’ to bring parks and facilities, including grass fields, artificial turf, and lights, up to standard.

  • Improve accessibility in Stanley Park by returning the two lanes of traffic, opening the parking and putting in a permanent bike lane.

  • Lead a groundbreaking ‘Safe Sport Officer’ program to help promote safety and inclusivity within sports organizations that use Park Board fields and facilities. Essentially, extending the welcoming and inclusive cultural practices of the Rogues across all sports and clubs in the city.

Vote for all candidates with ABC Vancouver next to their name. With an ABC Vancouver majority on Park Board, City Council and School Board, the city will have a centrist, pragmatic, solutions oriented government to help turn it around.
